The Texture of It All
See, I love food, but not for the reasons most people think. When I enjoy food, I'm enjoying it because of the way it feels in my mouth. Yes, the flavors are important--I can't eat food that tastes like crap--but what's more important is how it feels.
I never understood why, but it is what it is.
As I write this I'm eating a croissant that reminded me of this very truth. While the croissant isn't the best one I've ever tasted, the texture was exactly what my mouth needed.
